Louis Koo Tin Lok, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Max Zhang Jin, Wu Jing, Tony Jaa, BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik, Dominic Lam Ka Wa, director Soi Cheang Po Shui, producers Wilson Yip Wai Shun, Paco Wong and others yesterday attended their film SPL 2: A TIME FOR CONSEQUENCE (SAT POR LONG II) press conference. The host said that this film could be described as "a challenge to the limits" and "stimulating audience emotions". Then the cast had a little fun at the expense of the host. Since the host used the word "Tiu" in his descriptions, Goo Jai joked, "I would use the words 'Na' and "Sing' for my descriptions." He proceeded to explain that he meant just right and star studded.
Goo Jai asked the host to read all three words together. Brother Wa joked, "I had to bring up the word 'Diu' (hung), because in the film I was hanging for over ten hours and a dozen days." Tony Jaa said that this was his first Hong Kong film and he felt very honored. Zhang Jin said that everyone was like a brother. During the shoot he had to fight Wu Jing, which he truly did not feel right about. Wu Jing joked, "But I saw how much fun you had and how happy you were. One day he kicked over 300 times, either at the head, face or throat." Wu Jing said that he was very sentimental about making this film because it was a continuation of SPL ten years ago. He said that while making this film he was injured, married, injured again, then almost dead. It was the most memorable film that he has made. Wu Jing said, "In one scene I escaped from prison. I jumped from three stories above and a 50 kilogram case almost hit me. In another 0.3 seconds I would have been dead." Wu Jing said that after becoming a father he would be even more careful and pay attention to safety.
Yip Wai Shun was the film 3D FUNG SUN BONG (3D INVESTITURE OF GODS) producer. Speaking of Mrs. Heung blasting Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi for poor attitude and being unprofessional, was Pak Chi absent from the shoot? He said that when they worked together before she did not. This time he did not come in contact with Pak Chi so he did not know. He said, "Ultimately the decision has been made, no one wants to make this decision. It isn't an impulsive decision either, but it certainly is unpleasant." He said that perhaps Pak Chi had emotional problems, but when they worked together before she was fine.
